Pros of the photo essay, it shows a photo, states some of the same thing as the conventional article, and sates an example of each article. Cons of the photo it don't state everything the article say. General relationship, the photo show an example of the article. For example, article 7 states "The child shall be registered immediately after birth and … have the right … to a name … a nationality … [and] to preserve his or her identity."However, the photo that goes alone with the essay is an purple foot with an baby foot being registered.

Article 30 states that "Children of “ethnic, religious or linguistic minorities … shall not be denied the right to enjoy his or her own culture … religion or … language." The picture shows member's of the Dao ethnic group. The Dao group have religious bags, clothes, kids, and head scarfs. That's very effective, because it shows the kids and family enjoying their culture and not being bothered. However, that picture fits the article perfectly.

sweat shops Dreams

In his the Sweatshop Oppression essay, Rajeev Ravisankar exposes sweatshop labor. Rajeev states "college students wait until black Friday to buy  as much as they can for little as possible." However, Rajeev also states "that means the extensive use for sweat shop labor". Sweatshop labor is a pejorative term for a workplace that has poor, socially unacceptable working conditions. For example, a foreign person cant work, he or she will work at a shop for pennies or cheaper. However, that foreign person works for hours for cheap.

Rajeev states "these workers are forced to work for 70-80 hours per week". His goal is to show society that buying goods for low may save you money, but it increases sweatshops. However, Rajeev got ways in the essay to try to stop it. For example, he states disregard for well-being through sweatshop oppression. Me, personally, I don't think you can prevent it or stop it, People are going to buy cheaper goods regardless. However, if you stop it the people that can't work and going to lose jobs. So stopping it, is going to effect the employees either way.
